We also previously announced that we are delighted to have appointed Dr Jenny Eachus in her place. Some of you may already have met her as she has been here doing a locum for us on Thursdays since early November. Those of you that have met her may have noticed that she is expecting a baby. Very many congratulations to her and her husband. After much discussion, we have agreed with Dr Eachus that she will continue to work here one day a week during January, but she will then not be in the practice again until January next year (2013) so she can settle into a routine with her new baby and her two other young children before she returns to work. We wish them all well.

We have therefore appointed a long term locum, Dr Sally Aston. She will join us in January and will usually work 2 days a week through until the end of December 2012.

Finally, Dr Faheem will be taking a two and a half month sabbatical away from the practice early April to mid June next year .

The good news is though, that he has asked Dr Wilson to work as his locum while he is away, and she has accepted, so we will be delighted to see her back soon!
